A logistics and contracting organization is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for a full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for organized professionals with strong logistics and supply chain coordination experience, preferably within the construction or contracting industry.
Role Overview
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing logistics operations, coordinating material flow, supporting procurement activities, and ensuring timely delivery of construction materials. The role requires strong coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders including suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Operations Support
You will support day-to-day logistics activities by coordinating material movement, assisting supply chain operations, and ensuring smooth operational flow across project sites.
Material Procurement Coordination
You will assist in procurement processes by managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for construction projects.
Supplier and Vendor Management
You will coordinate with suppliers and vendors, manage communications, track delivery performance, and maintain updated vendor records to support efficient procurement operations.
Purchase Order Processing
You will process and organize purchase orders, ensure accurate documentation, track order status, and support timely procurement execution in coordination with internal teams.
Job Requirements
• Previous experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
• Experience in construction or contracting industry preferred
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Good communication and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of procurement and logistics processes is an advantage
