A leading organization in Dubai is hiring a Financial Controller for a full-time, on-site position. This role is ideal for senior finance professionals with strong insurance industry experience, regulatory expertise, and the ability to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls within a regulated environment.
Role Overview
The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, overseeing financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining strong internal controls. The role requires deep expertise in insurance sector regulations, UAE financial compliance, and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Compliance
You will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory submissions while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
Budgeting and Financial Planning
You will lead budgeting and forecasting activities, monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and support strategic financial planning.
Regulatory Compliance and Governance
You will ensure compliance with Central Bank and insurance regulatory requirements, monitor regulatory updates, and implement necessary controls and reporting processes.
Internal Controls and Risk Management
You will establish and maintain strong internal control frameworks, identify financial risks, and support financial governance across the organization.
Tax Compliance and Financial Management
You will ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, support statutory reporting, and maintain adherence to financial policies.
Financial Leadership and Business Support
You will provide financial insights to senior management and support strategic decision-making to improve business performance.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
• Mandatory experience in the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of Central Bank and Insurance Authority regulations
• Strong understanding of UAE tax compliance
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
• Strong analytical and leadership skills
• UAE experience preferred
• Immediate joiners preferred
