A catering and food services organization is hiring an Accounts Assistant for a full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for entry-level accounting professionals with strong attention to detail, foundational finance knowledge, and the ability to support core accounting operations in a structured environment.

Role Overview

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities including transaction recording, accounts payable and receivable support, invoice processing, and expense tracking. The role offers strong exposure to core accounting functions within a catering and food service business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Transaction Recording

You will record financial transactions by entering data into accounting systems, ensuring proper classification, and maintaining accuracy in all financial records.

Accounts Receivable Support

You will assist in processing invoices, recording customer payments, maintaining client account records, and following up on outstanding receivables.

Accounts Payable Assistance

You will support supplier invoice processing, organize vendor documentation, and assist in payment coordination and record maintenance.

Catering Invoice Processing

You will review catering orders, process invoices, maintain billing records, and ensure accurate revenue recording related to catering operations.

Expense Recording and Tracking

You will record and track business expenses including supplier costs and food-related expenditures while maintaining proper documentation and supporting cost monitoring.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and office software
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn accounting processes and systems
• Previous internship or entry-level experience is an advantage
