A reputable organization is hiring an Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in JAFZA, Dubai. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with strong UAE experience and hands-on expertise in ERP systems, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
Role Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, supporting reporting activities, and ensuring accurate reconciliations. The role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on ERP experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations and Financial Records
You will manage daily accounting entries, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure proper documentation of all transactions in compliance with company policies.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
You will assist in preparing financial reports, support month-end closing activities, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting and statements.
Reconciliations and Ledger Management
You will perform bank and account reconciliations, maintain general ledger accuracy, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
ERP System Management (NetSuite / Oracle)
You will work extensively on NetSuite or Oracle ERP systems to process transactions, maintain data accuracy, and support financial operations.
Compliance and Documentation
You will ensure adherence to accounting principles, maintain proper documentation, and support audit and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
• 2–4 years of accounting experience in the UAE (mandatory)
• Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite or Oracle ERP systems
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, reporting, and reconciliations
• Must be currently based in the UAE
• Preference for candidates located near JAFZA or surrounding areas
• Immediate joiners preferred (urgent hiring)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
