A healthcare organization based in Dubai is hiring an experienced Accounting Manager to lead its finance function. This is a full-time, on-site role suited for qualified accounting professionals with strong US GAAP expertise, UAE tax knowledge, and proven leadership experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations.

Role Overview

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with US GAAP, and managing all core finance operations. The role also includes supervising accounting staff and supporting audits, tax compliance, payroll, and month-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations and Month-End Close

You will lead the accounting function, manage month-end close activities, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across all processes.

Financial Reporting (US GAAP)

You will prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to reporting standards.

VAT and Corporate Tax Compliance

You will manage UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, ensuring timely filing, accurate calculations, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Audit Coordination

You will coordinate internal and external audits, prepare audit documentation, and ensure all financial records are audit-ready.

AP, AR, Payroll, and Cash Flow Management

You will oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll (WPS), and cash flow management to ensure smooth financial operations.

Team Leadership

You will supervise and support the Operations Accountant, ensuring strong performance, accuracy, and efficiency across all accounting tasks.

Job Requirements

• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification (mandatory)
• Strong experience in US GAAP financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance
• Experience in audit management; Big 4 background preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage full-cycle accounting operations independently
