An organization in Abu Dhabi is hiring an Offboarding Team Leader for a full-time, on-site position. This role is ideal for experienced HR professionals with strong expertise in employee offboarding, UAE labour law compliance, end-of-service benefits administration, and team leadership.
Role Overview
The Offboarding Team Leader will be responsible for managing the end-to-end employee separation process, ensuring compliance with UAE labour regulations, overseeing final settlements, and leading a team responsible for delivering efficient and compliant offboarding operations.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Offboarding Management
You will lead and manage the complete offboarding process, ensuring employee exits are handled professionally, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
End of Service Benefits and Final Settlements
You will oversee the accurate calculation of End of Service Benefits (EOSB), final settlements, leave encashments, and other employee exit-related payments.
Visa Cancellation and Clearance Coordination
You will coordinate visa cancellations, employee clearances, asset returns, and exit formalities while ensuring timely completion of all required documentation.
Compliance and Documentation Management
You will ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, maintain accurate employee records, and oversee all offboarding documentation and audit requirements.
Team Leadership and Operational Excellence
You will manage and support the offboarding team, establish performance standards, provide guidance, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
You will collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and business leaders to ensure smooth employee separation processes and timely issue resolution.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 7 years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Relations, or Offboarding
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and offboarding procedures
• Proven experience in End of Service Benefits (EOSB) calculations and final settlements
• Experience handling employee exits, visa cancellations, and clearance processes
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to manage high-volume offboarding operations efficiently
